2023年の抱負

江戸時代という、天然染料・顔料が日常に使われ、人々の色や模様の関心と要望、職人の技術が相乗効果をもたらし、需要が高まり、職人達の技術が極まった様子や記録を読んでいると、想像と創造の気持ちが広がっていきます。

今年は4年ぶりに染色や染色技法、色糊作りなどの材料の特徴と使い方のワークショップを再開します。

庭や畑での染料植物の栽培、近隣の森や林の保全、天然染料・顔料、繊維、それらを使う技術の研究や試験、実践と普及活動にご参加、ご協力をお願い致します。

Aspirations for 2023,
In the Edo period, natural dyes and pigments were used in everyday life, people’s interest in and desires for colors and patterns, and the skills of craftsmen brought about a synergistic effect. When we are there, our imagination and creativity expand.

This year, for the first time in four years, we will resume workshops on the characteristics and usage of materials such as dyeing, dyeing techniques, and making colored glue at several locations.

We ask for your participation and cooperation in the cultivation of dye plants in gardens and fields, the conservation of nearby forests and forests, the research and testing of natural dyes, pigments, fibers, and the technology that uses them, and the practice and dissemination activities.
