収穫して、葉を落とし、茎の長さを揃え、数時間から一晩、清水に浸漬する。Harvest the stems, drop the leaves, align the lengths, and soak the stems in fresh water for hours to overnight.

カラムシ剥ぎ：茎の表皮を剥がし、清水に浸漬する。Pare the cuticle on the stem and soak the cuticle in fresh water

苧引き：内皮繊維を剥ぐ。Obiki : Strip off the endothelial fibers
